The day started off at the James Hotel, with all of the ladies getting their hair and makeup done in the room. As everything was being put into place at for a Promontory Point wedding, Jason and I couldn’t help but let our excitement squeek out a bit- you see, during Katie and Wes’ engagement session, we stopped by a farmers market, which gave Katie the brilliant idea to stick to flowers that are in season. With the mention of white, green, and yellow- I couldn’t wait to see what Katie picked out.
Katie’s bridal party was fantastic, I asked them how they all met Katie, and the stories ranged from gradeschool and college to Starbucks coworkers. If you remember anything from their engagement post, then let it be Katie’s obsession for some iced caramel deliciousness. Now, onto the day. 🙂
Seeeee? I told you there was Starbucks!
If you look closely, you’ll notice that Katie’s mom is a genius- she brought an antique button hook along to button the buttons on Katie’s dress. And it did the trick!
And! Look at all of those delightful Billy Ball Flowers! Along with other zesty pleasantries. A huge shout-out goes to Lauren, of Ryan Alexander Events for making sure everything went off perfectly with a bang! From the centerpieces to the iced tea and lemonade stands by the ceremony, Lauren made sure everything was in place and to schedule by the time we all arrived. Two thumbs up!
Gah! I love the way Wes just looks at Katie.
And to top it off, the wonderful sparklers lineup at the end of the night! Katie, you looked absolutely wonderful, and I loved your colorful shoes! I hope that California is fantastic!
