Family Photography

We love to photograph families and their joyful moments. No stuffy studios – we do family photography sessions in and around your home. What’s more personal and meaningful than where you and your family live their lives every day?

We take the same approach to photographing families as we do to photographing our wedding couples – it’s our goal to capture your family interacting, having fun, hugging, walking, talking, and everything in between. We want to not only capture photos of your family but also tell the story of everyone.

Film!

During your session, Ela photographs with an old school Contax 645 120mm film camera. There is something magical about film and we love the grain and color nuances it provides. Jason photographs using a digital camera for more candid rapid-fire moments. This allows us to get both the beauty of film and also photojournalism of digital photography. Family sessions can be a bit like herding cats, but that’s all a part of the fun.

You get all of your photos in a gallery to share with friends and family and digital copies with printing rights. For important photos, we do recommend going through our lab for the best possible professional quality.
